Why are you rebuilding your life? Divorce? Financial loss? Job loss? Death of a loved one? Other losses? Auto accident(s)? Sexual assault? Domestic violence? Sudden disability? Health challenges? Surgery? If you are rebuilding your life, I’m glad you found my site!
We have all experienced traumas and losses, but some circumstances knock us off our feet and it takes longer to get back up. We can feel overwhelmed, angry, frustrated, unsure about what to do next, and seeing what appears to be mountains ahead of us. What is a trauma or loss to me may not be to you and vice versa. That’s because of the life journeys we have been on up to this point. One thing for sure is that traumas and losses will come throughout our lives.
How to Rebuild
So the question becomes how to rebuild your life? Handling traumas and losses alone can be very overwhelming. We usually need a little help to pull the pieces together and start over. To do that we need the support of caring people who understand our situation, who will walk with us, and help us move forward in healthy ways to rebuild our lives.
If you’ve had a lot of traumas and losses, you might have realized that somewhere on your journey, you lost God’s vision for your life, along with your passion. Restoring God’s vision for your life and getting your passion back to pursue great things is an important part of what we plan to do to help you. Knowing the best starting point for rebuilding is important.
